Hello and welcome back to the six, fifteenth episode sorry, of GTA III the Definitive Edition. And today, weโ€™ll just continue on working with Joey Leone over at his auto factory. Itโ€™s quite late, So I might have to save it twice. And off we trot strutting. And weโ€™ll jump in our, what is this? Mafia Sentinel. Whoa, almost got hit. Okay, this car handles nicely and it looks pretty nice as well. And from memory it is what, the Leone familyโ€™s, Leone family uses, for heโ€™s cars. โ€˜Dead Skunk In The Trunkโ€˜. Awe, so letโ€™s go find this vehicle.

Iโ€™d imagine from what he said, weโ€™ll have to take the car to 8-Ballโ€™s crushing compound. So, we got a stiff in the trunk going through rigor mortis. Um wait, nifty looking car. Itโ€™s awe, I was gonna say there was some suspicious cars hanging around. So, this mission is actually missable. So, Itโ€™s also optional. So, you donโ€™t have to do it. But, if you want to get one-hundred percent game completion you need to finish this. And I believe, the next Joey Leone mission before ah, completing ah, Salvatore Leoneโ€™s mission. Like the last one that you do with him, I forget the name. Awe this guy. Alright Iโ€™m gonna have to concentrate a little.

Awe guy. Awe, there was a Police officer, I almost hit him. Heโ€™s still after me, they. Wait this isnโ€™t 8-Ballโ€™s compound. Heโ€™s over at the other spot. Anyway, oh okay. I thought they would of left me. Donโ€™t want it to blow me up. Whereโ€™s that other car gone? Heโ€™s got a weapon here, just a Pistol. No sweat, enjoy the scenery of eh, air plane flying through, two actually. Iโ€™m gonna go read this. Park in the marked area and exit your vehicle. The vehicle will then be crushed as practised. Can we take this guyโ€™s car? Whoa, that was weird. Thatโ€™s weird! So, heโ€™s like stuck there. If I go from this side, nope, wonโ€™t let me.

Looks like weโ€™re taking this rust bucket. Not really a rust bucket but paint all looks scratchy looking. I should probably give that guy a nudge out there, now that heโ€™s probably not hostile. Forelli brother. Alright, time to go save as we do at the end of every mission. Oh, heavy braking in this vehicle. Thereโ€™s the phone booth location that weโ€™ll be participated in, not this mission, not the next one, but the following. Thereโ€™s my vehicle that Iโ€™m in. Oh, this carโ€™s horrendous. Thanks for watching and Iโ€™ll see you on the next episode!

Summary

In โ€˜Grand Theft Auto 3: Definitive Edition,โ€™ the mission โ€˜Dead Skunk in the Trunkโ€™ offers players a unique blend of mystery and action. It kicks off with a visit to Joey Leone, a key figure in the gameโ€™s narrative. Joey serves as a gateway to this side mission, tasking players with a job thatโ€™s more than it seems on the surface.

Joey Leoneโ€™s Auto Insurance Garage plays a pivotal role, not just as a mission hub but as a symbol of the intricate web of criminal activities in Liberty City. Players find themselves drawn into Joeyโ€™s world, which mixes mundane business with the murkier side of the mafia life. This garage isnโ€™t just a place to pick up jobs; itโ€™s a window into the chaos and charm of the Leone family dynasty.

The heart of the mission is the eerie discovery of a Forelli corpse inside a Manana. This isnโ€™t just any carโ€”itโ€™s a testament to the ongoing turf war between the Leone and Forelli families. The gameโ€™s storyline cleverly weaves this discovery into a broader narrative about power struggles in Liberty City. The task? Get rid of the car, and with it, the evidence of yet another Leone victory.

For players, the mix of activity at this point is tantalizing. Thereโ€™s a mix of speed, strategy, and a glimpse into the underbelly of mob life that no other mission quite captures. Itโ€™s not just about completing a task but delving into a drama thatโ€™s unfolding in plain sight. This mission reveals just enough about the gameโ€™s ongoing narrative to keep players hooked, eager to see what comes next in the volatile streets of Liberty City.

Chasing Trouble: The Forelli Brothers

Once you get into the thick of โ€˜Dead Skunk in the Trunk,โ€™ the Forelli brothers become your immediate concern. These guys are relentless, providing one of the gameโ€™s memorable pursuits. Players hear the intense engine roars behind them, signaling that itโ€™s time to think fast or face the heat.

The chase with the Forelli brothers is designed to test your driving skills and reaction time. Knowing the shortcuts across Liberty City can give you a significant edge. Whether itโ€™s cutting through alleyways or using jumps, every second counts in staying ahead of them.

To tackle the chase effectively, always keep an eye on your minimap. Knowing the brothersโ€™ position helps anticipate their moves and avoid being cornered. Another tip? Arm yourself well. Sometimes confronting them head-on, rather than just dodging, can be the key to completing this mission smoothly.

The outcome of this chase is pivotal. Successfully evading or outmaneuvering the Forelli brothers doesnโ€™t just earn you bragging rights; it determines how seamlessly you progress in your journey through Liberty Cityโ€™s criminal landscape. With each successful escape, players find themselves a bit more entrenched in the epic Leone vs. Forelli saga, understanding the stakes at play in their quest for dominance.

End of the Line: Car Crushing Compound and Beyond

After a thrilling chase with the Forelli brothers, the mission leads you to the Car Crushing Compound, where the final act takes place. Here, the aim is simple: destroy the evidence before it gets you into deeper trouble.

Finding your way to the Car Crushing Compound can be straightforward if youโ€™re familiar with the industrial section of Liberty City. The path is typically free of critical threats once the Forellis are dealt with, so thereโ€™s less pressure here. Still, time matters in ensuring a clean getaway.

When you reach the compound, maneuver the Manana onto the designated spot in the crusher. Itโ€™s an impressive, almost cinematic moment as the massive machinery does its work, sparking a sense of satisfaction after all the intense action.

This mission isnโ€™t just about completing objectivesโ€”itโ€™s about mastering the dynamic world around you. Destroying the Manana symbolically wipes the slate clean, leaving no loose ends for enemies to exploit.

For players eyeing a smooth mission completion, ensure your vehicle is in good shape before the crusher sequence. Repairs or switching vehicles if viable can save you stress if things get sticky on the way.

Successfully finishing this task reinforces your standing with Joey Leone, enhancing your reputation and making you an even bigger player in Liberty Cityโ€™s underground scene. This missionโ€™s conclusion doesnโ€™t just end a storyline; it further cements your place in the ongoing power dynamics of the game.
