T R A N S C R I P T . . .
Hello and welcome back to the one-hundred and sixth episode of this GTA III The Definitive Edition video game series. Today, we’re gonna jump in our Patriot and search for our fifth Rampage Skull icon within the Shoreside Vale area.
So, we’re gonna head over to Pike Creek where the Skull is and if you remember the episode we done somewhat recently called Bait, where we led Catalina’s three death squad cars to Asuka Kasen’s Yakuza trap. That’s where we gotta go basically for this Rampage.
And the objective is to shoot fifteen Colombian Cartel’s in the head with a Sniper Rifle. So, It’s just up. There’s our, on that corner-edge there we’re gonna be standing/firing. This is ‘Rampage‘. Remove fifteen Colombian heads in two-minutes. Alright, awe. One, two. Sounds like they’re all clustered below me.
Awe, that’s an innocent. C’mon, get the shot. Nine to go. If we get just a cluster of em’ It’ll help a lot. Three to go. Ah, one more. Who’s our lucky last? This guy. There we go. Head back over to Wichita Gardens Safehouse to save it. I hope you enjoyed the episode and I’ll see you on the next!

Summary
Rampages in GTA 3 The Definitive Edition definitively spice up the gameplay. These aren’t just a test of skill but a chance to throw yourself into the chaoticness that Liberty City always promises. The deal here is simple: you take on the city’s finest (and not-so-finest) with a timer ticking and an accurate Sniper Rifle.
Picking up that sniper rifle brings in a whole new flavour. It’s not just about mindless firing but about strategy, precision, and timing. Unlike a machine gun, you gotta think a step ahead, marking your targets and knowing when to pull the trigger at the exact right moment because Claude is required to execute precision head shots.
Taking on this optional rampage isn’t just about mindless destruction. It’s about strategy and daring. It keeps players engaged by pushing their limits. For those who’ve roamed the virtual streets a little too comfortably, rampages offer that familiar surge adrenaline for gaming adrenaline junkies, much like finding that back alley shortcut you got jumped in last week. Every session can be unique, even if the concept stays the same—it’s the actions that vary, making each attempt a fresh but unforgiving challenge.

Strategizing Success: Completing Pike Creek’s Colombian Cartel Rampage
Finding that floating skull icon at Pike Creek sets you up for some serious action. It’s like the bat signal, only this time you’re wreaking havoc instead of saving the day. Just know, timing’s everything.
Once you’re geared up with the sniper rifle, your skills need a different kind of finesse. Unlike close combat, this requires a steady hand and pinpoint accuracy. Make sure to take advantage of that higher ground near the skull token and pick off Cartel targets before they even know what’s coming. The key is to remain patient and diligent—sometimes rush your shots.
With just two minutes on the clock and the goal of firing 15 clean head shots makes it easy to feel the pressure. Time management is your biggest ally here. Line up shots quickly but don’t sacrifice accuracy for speed to often. Hitting the targets correctly can save those precious moments you’ll need to clear out the remaining Colombian craniums. Remember, every second counts towards clinching that $5,000 GTA reward, be that its your first rampage challenge cleared.
Reaping the Rewards: Cashing in on Liberty City’s Daring Ventures
Nailing your first rampage nets you a cool $5,000 GTA, a tidy sum that sets the stage for high-stakes gaming. The beauty is in how the rewards stack up. With each successful rampage, your earnings multiply, adding a layer of excitement to every challenge you conquer.
Keeping an eye on the big prize, knocking off all 20 rampages in Liberty City lands you the ultimate reward—a million bucks. That’s a serious boost to your in-game bankroll. It’s this kind of hefty bonus that fuels the thrill of hunting those rampage icons across the city in the first place.
In-game achievements aren’t just about the cash. They fuel that sense of accomplishment, feeding the competitive spirit within. Finishing all rampages is a badge of honour among players and gets 1% added to your overall game completion, proving you’ve tamed the wild nature of Liberty City’s streets.
For those seeking mastery, the rampages could become more than a sideshow. They’re serious business, sharpening skills and rewarding perseverance in ways a regular mission simply doesn’t capture. If you fail the rampage just reload the game file. Otherwise, you will need to locate the skull icon’s alternate location.

I am honestly surprised by a few things here and there this time, indeed.
First off, that’s the most amount of money I’ve seen you earn from just off a single mission; $90,000, to be exact. All for completing that mission and literally driving back to where you got the Patriot from.
Also surprised by the decals of the game; I may or may not have expected that the pools of blood were going to be there for so long after you had killed them all. Nice graphics, GTA.
That’s about as much as I can gather, on top of you picking up a few icons here and there to start the video. Nice work.
-Best,

This is a classic GTA III Rampage mission breakdown! It’s interesting how these challenges, even in the Definitive Edition, still evoke that intense, chaotic gameplay from the original. The specific objective of headshots with a sniper rifle against the Colombian Cartel in Pike Creek brings back memories of that gritty, urban warfare feel. It’s also noteworthy how the mission ties into the broader narrative, referencing “Bait” and Catalina’s storyline. This interconnectedness is a hallmark of GTA’s world-building.With It’s enhanced visuals and controls of the Definitive Edition I find these Rampage missions significantly easier and enjoyable than in the original. Also, are there any particular strategies you’ve developed for these headshot-centric Rampages that differ from your approach back in the day? The nostalgia factor combined with the updated presentation makes these videos a fun watch. Looking forward to the next episode! Phil…
