Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and eighty-sixth episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. Weโ€™re gonna get Cid to fly us out to Zanarkand Ruins and weโ€™ll teleport over to where we defeated Yunalesca. And the reason being, is that we wanna step up the challenge and fight the Superboss Aeon Dark Bahamut. Which will be no walk in the park but, with the right strategy in mind and a fair bit of luck, and some grinding. I think I might be able to pull it off at this current situation. So, weโ€™re gonna use Kimahri, Yuna and Rikku. Reason being, Yuna has Ribbon and the other two have Stoneproof. Letโ€™s equipped Celestial Weaponโ€™s. So, we basically need to land about forty max damage strikes but, thatโ€™s easier said than done. So here we go! So, weโ€™ll try and keep Yuna haloโ€™d up with the Auto-Life. As you can see, Itโ€™s hard to actually land a regular melee attack. So any we getโ€™s great. Letโ€™s do Ronso Rage Nova for the first-time I think. Itโ€™s quite a scene and Itโ€™s a guaranteed hit of max damage. Weโ€™re gonna wear a Mega Flare! We wanna try and avoid that with the characters. Weโ€™ll do Nova as much as we can. Letโ€™s Grand Summon Valefor.

Weโ€™ll shoot out an Energy Blast and wear the Mega Flare if we can. Letโ€™s use Dispel on Yuna because if she takes an Impulse, sheโ€™ll get like maxed damage and that will be detrimental. So, letโ€™s Grand Summon in Ifrit. Weโ€™re getting pretty lucky so far with hitting the melee attacks. Letโ€™s raze a little Hellfire! Letโ€™s Dispel Yuna, very important, especially if that Impulse hits. Letโ€™s Grand Summon Ixion and inflict a Thorโ€™s Hammer. Alright, weโ€™ll Grand Summon Shiva. Can you like blizzard some Diamond Dust. Just imagine if Dark Bahamut had Curaga or Auto-Regen. And it looks like we just ah, injured Dark Bahamut. Iโ€™d say weโ€™re about halfway through this fight now that Itโ€™s hunched over. But Itโ€™s not over yet, one mistake and thatโ€™s literally game over! Nice hit there Yuna, thatโ€™s what we need. One or two of them will go along way. Alright, letโ€™s Grand Summon Bahamut and give it a taste of Itโ€™s own medicine with a Mega Flare. Right back at ya. Oh no, phew! This might be the only time weโ€™ve used Dispel in this fight. Thatโ€™s the way Kimahri. Gawd dammit, couldnโ€™t even do an attack. Okay cโ€™mon, Itโ€™d be nice if you land something.

Letโ€™s Grand Summon Anima and I think Itโ€™s the first summoning of Anima at a spectacular occasion and location. This fight calls for the big guns and Itโ€™s gonna use Oblivion but, I donโ€™t think Itโ€™s gonna be fully effective. But Itโ€™s gonna look sick regardless! Come down to my world. Cโ€™mon yes! Awe that is painful! Um, weโ€™re gonna actually Auto-Life someone here, because we canโ€™t Grand Summon at this time. I hope this works. Awe no, phew. Alright we survived that, thatโ€™s great. Yes ah. Grand Summon the Magus Sisters, letโ€™s see how they go. Letโ€™s just go straight up with the Combined Powers with the Delta Attack. I mean, better than nothing. Oh yes, we ate the Impulse as well. Thatโ€™s ah, really good. Can we survive the Mega Flare? Weโ€™re not in a good position here. We gotta use the characters to get us across the line here. Oh my gawd! Yes, oh my gawd, we done it. Awe, weโ€™ll take that. Wow! Down goes Dark Bahamut. Oh my gawd, that was such a challenge. So right now, with the little time we have, weโ€™re gonna go back to the Calm Lands and do a little bit of farming over at the Arena. And weโ€™ll start-off by getting a couple of Level Four Key Sphereโ€™s from Nemesis. We just got ambushed, or perhaps not.

Awe, this time, there we go. Weโ€™re gonna farm some Red Sphere Sphereโ€™s from Kottos. Weโ€™ll use a Mana and Speed Distiller. Awe man, nothings working. Havenโ€™t got time for it not to be working. Weโ€™ll do that again. Mana, ah wait. Forty Mana Sphere collected, letโ€™s get the Speed! Letโ€™s bring in Wakka. So now, weโ€™re gonna take out the One-Eye twelve times with an Overkill. Because we wanna get twenty-four Magic Defense Sphere. Fortunately, thatโ€™s a quick process. Six more to go! The Dark Matter, weโ€™ll have to do an extra one. One more! Letโ€™s make sure everyoneโ€™s set to Comrade. Yep, other than Wakka and weโ€™re gonna quickly Don Tonberry AP Trick all characters. And, weโ€™ll have to have the Triple or Double AP Weaponโ€™s equipped of course. But Wakka can have a weaker Weapon. Ah no, Oh my gawd, Kimahri on one health. What have I done. Making sure. Alright, letโ€™s Flee. Pretty good amount. So, letโ€™s stock up on our Phoenix Down, we have a very low amount. So normally, I would do the Sphere Grid now, but, because weโ€™re out of time weโ€™re gonna have to just end it. So, theirโ€™s a โ€˜Travellerโ€™s Save Sphereโ€˜.
