Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and forty-sixth episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. So today, we’re gonna fly back into the Omega Ruins to begin capturing fiend’s for the Monster Fiend Arena and this’ll be our final destination for fiend capturing. But, there’s three things we wanna do before we start. First, we’re gonna equip Auron with his Celestial Weapon Masamune in anticipation for the Great Malboro attacking with the guaranteed Bad Breath. But we also need to flee so, we’ll teach him Flee with a Special Sphere, that way the Great Malboro can’t touch us. And now, I wanna begin doing ah, Armor Customisation’s. But for today, just Tidus! So we’ve found a Tetra Shield, in fact two with four slots during our quest. And hopefully, we get the right one but, we’re gonna customise it. If not, we’ll swap em’ over and I’m not customising the Armor to make the characters overpowered. It’s sorta just gonna be a, a balanced setup. And It’s not gonna take a long time to farm ingredients so, Break HP Limit added, Auto-Phoenix, Confuseproof which is gonna benefit us here. And we’ll add the next one when we get enough ingredients. So let’s start. Okay, we got the wrong shield up, I thought that was the case. That’s the one we want now, a Genji Shield for now. Alright, so it begins! Floating Death captured and Zaurus. Might as well fill in the mini-map this time around, but we’ve collected everything but one thing or so. So, we’ll wait and see what it is.

Machea captured! Varuna has been caught! So this is why we have Flee and our Celestial Weapon equipped, for that purpose right there. Otherwise the Great Malboro will definitely cast Bad Breath guaranteed and ambush us every-time in the Omega Ruins. Halma has been captured and Spirit has been caught. That Spirit can be quite deadly, so that’s why we customised Tidus’s Armor. One of the reasons anyway. Master Tonberry has been captured, back to back! I wonder if I can get another attack in with Auron, awesome. You chose the wrong guy, but missed the two. Puroboros captured! Glad they come in threes, ah crap. Ah, that’s what we wanted. Master Coeurl has been caught. Fingers crossed we don’t encounter a Great Malboro next but we’ll take the chance. That took way too long, change your Weapon faster there Auron. Black Element captured! That’s the tenth Zaurus captured and now It’s gonna be a pest I’d say for most of this. So, that could have pretty much wiped us out if we didn’t have Confuseproof with Tidus. It’s nice having Auron fleeing for a change. Ya! That’s the tenth Puroboros caught, however that’s pronounced. Cause we have fiend’s from other area’s, like Inside Sin. It could take a little bit longer. Yeah, it might cause me to have to do two video’s for this episode which I don’t like doing. There’s a mechanic where, as Auron takes damage he can, and he’s HP lowers. He can dish out more damage to the enemy. Sir Auron’s more effective attacking when he’s near death.

Here’s an example, take damage. And now, he should go from a hundred to about three thousand, three hundred thousand I mean and ah, It’s only whilst wielding his Masamune Celestial Weapon. Now, we’ll get to see what item that was behind the Omega Weapon. In the chest there’s a Magic Sphere! I might hang out here for awhile, see how we go. You’re definitely better off capturing the Great Malboro Inside Sin. Where it isn’t a guaranteed Bad Breath ambush over in the City Of Dying Dreams area. I guess we’ll start heading back up the ah, steep path area. Getting horrible spawns. There we go, something. Last one out here before we head back in. Awe, there might be more than one actually. One more capture before we go in! Ah! That was close. So I’m gonna pause it here real quick and end this video but, quickly start a new one. And we’re back! Dammit alright. That’s the tenth Floating Death captured! Ah, I already got ten of those. That’s the tenth Master Coeurl caught. I keep changing the Weapon back to the Celestial Weapon in anticipation for um, Great Malboro. But it seems to never show ha. No stealing. That’s the tenth Master Tonberry captured! That’s the tenth Machea captured! We get to see Tidus’s Auto-Phoenix in action for the first-time and that’s the tenth Halma caught. It really would have been nice capturing that Varuna the last time we encountered, cause it doesn’t wanna show now. We only got one more left! There we go, their’s one. That’s the tenth Varuna captured!

That’s the tenth Spirit captured, which leaves us with Black Element. Hopefully, we’re not waiting here forever! I’m spewing that I killed one without capturing it because that means we’ll have to encounter it twice. We’re staying right there! Yes, ha. That’s the tenth Black Element captured and all the fiend’s captured within the Omega Ruins. Gawd awe, glad I remembered that, cause what are the chances a Great Malboro spawning and just wiping us out right at the end. Right now, ha. So, Sphere Grid time. We’ve got plenty to do. Tidus uses a Level One Key Sphere, along with a Level Two. And he also learns Pilfer Gil. Ah, we’ll head that way. Tidus learns Extract Mana and Jinx! Plus Scan. He uses another Level One Key Sphere to unlock his path to learn, wrong way, Dark Attack and Silence Attack. Plus Extract Ability and Aim. Wakka learns Quick Hit and Cura. Plus Shell and Protect. Wakka also learns Reflect and Dispel. He also learns Curaga, that’s cool! Auron learns Protect! Auron also learns Reflect and Dispel. We’ll go this way with Auron where he can learn Steal and Use! Auron activates a Magic Sphere. Auron learns Luck and Spare Change. Plenty of abilities learned for these three, this Sphere Grid session. Kimahri learns Demi! So, characters stats and overall Sphere Grid progression. So, their’s a ‘Traveller’s Save Sphere‘. I hope you enjoyed this episode and I’ll see you on the next!
