Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and twentieth episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. So, we started off in the Calm Lands by capturing one of each fiend, to activate the Monster Fiend Arena challenges. And now, weβve caught emβ all up until the Calm Lands again. Thereβs still three more areas. But now that the fiendβs are quite tougher, we might pull back and do something else, and then continue with them when weβre a bit stronger. Otherwise, Itβs just gonna take too long! So, what weβre gonna do is collect Celestial Weaponβs and we have all the Crestβs. The several. And one Sigil. So, our first Celestial Weapon will be the Caladbolg for Tidus and Itβs here in the Calm Lands.
So, Itβs another reason why Itβs a good time to start doing it. And yeah, so we got the Sun Sigil already for winning the Capture Chocobo Race. So letβs ah, go get the Celestial Weaponβs per episode and corresponding Sigilβs. So thereβs a good chance that there might be a guy preventing us from getting it, so weβll go see. If thatβs the case, weβll have to redo the race. Yeah, he wonβt let us pass. He needs to bare witness to our magnificent winning of the race so letβs go do it again. Chocobo Trainer should be north-east. Hopefully, we get it first try. Select Training Course, Catcher Chocobo. Hopefully, I remember the sensitivity with the steering. Yeah, should be right. Ah. Yeah, it was alright, considering how long Itβs been.
There he is, so heβs moved. Letβs go get our first Celestial Weapon which will be useless for now. So, weβll activate this Glyph using the Celestial Mirror. Oh my damn, obtained Caladbolg. So cool! There it is, but at the moment Itβs pretty much as good as a Taming Sword. Other than the fact you canβt get Ability Points, so Itβs worse actually for now. With all that capturing weβve done um, characters have levelled up quite a bit. In particular, the ones that have been capturing. And more so Tidus, cause we started off with him to learn his Overdrive Techniques. So letβs ah, do some upgrades on the Sphere Grid starting with Auron. Um, weβll use another Level Three Key Sphere. Auron learns the Ability Entrust! Wakka learn the Ability Triple Foul, yea ha! Now Tidus with his twenty-three moves, letβs get that going.
Tidus learns the Ability Quick Hit and activates a Level Three Key Sphere. Alright, weβre gonna quickly learn that Ability there and then head back. Tidus learns Cura, some of Yunaβs white magic and also Shell! Tidus learns the Ability Protect! Kimahri learns the Bribe Ability! Do we wanna go this way with Rikku? No, we donβt. Rikku learns Luluβs Fira Ability! Lulu activates a Level Four Key Sphere for no particular reason. Has to be done eventually though. So in doing that weβll um, weβll activate a HP Sphere in Itβs spot. Which is good for three hundred Health Points. So at a glance of the stats and the Sphere Grid progression.
