Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and thirty-sixth episode of this GTA III The Definitive Edition video game series.

Today, we’re gonna take this Banshee out for a spin and randomly encounter a vehicle that we need for our Import/Export Exchange List at Pike Creek.

Once again, right out the front of the Wichita Gardens Hideout is a vehicle. And this is the β€˜Cabbieβ€˜. Here we are. Cabbie on the list? Yep! Cabbie crossed off the list. Three vehicles down, thirteen vehicles remain.

Sorry guy, we need your Bobcat. I guess, it seems if you apply the brake as you hit into a Police car. I think maybe not always but, sometimes you won’t get a wanted star. At least, that’s what I noticed. I hope you enjoyed this episode and I’ll see you on the next!

Cabbie GTA 3

Summary

Getting the chance to jump into the side-mission of Cabbie Import/Export in GTA 3: The Definitive Edition is like stepping into a piece of video game history. Optional and packed with unique rewards, this activity adds an extra layer of fun and challenge to your gameplay. It’s all about grabbing those iconic Cabbie’s around Liberty City and delivering them to Pike Creek Garage one time.

This mission isn’t for the storyline completionists alone. It’s a nod to the dedicated gamers who delight in ticking off every to-do list in the game. The real charm? The Cabbie’s design, paying homage to the classic Checker Taxi, offers a nostalgic twist that’s hard to resist for fans of vintage rides.

Even though it’s a side-mission, people are drawn to it for its unique challenge and the tangible in-game benefits it offers. Whether you’re a completionist or just looking for some variety in your gameplay, taking on the Cabbie Import/Export mission is both rewarding and entertaining.

Completing the Cabbie Import/Export Mission

Tracking down a Cabbie in Liberty City might seem simple at first, and it is with the right spots in mind, it becomes part of the thrill of the hunt. Target areas like the Mean Street Taxis depot in Trenton, Portland, and the lively Multistory car park in Newport, Staunton Island. These locations are ideal hunting grounds.

The strategic approach here is to nab either a parked Cabbie or to spot one on the move. Once you’ve got your hands on one, it’s straight to Pike Creek’s Import/Export Garage in Shoreside Vale. Timing your collection and delivery is key to keep it an enjoyable task rather than a chore.

Getting to know Liberty City’s layout pays off, and being familiar with areas frequented by Cabbies will speed things up. They may not be as common as the regular Taxi, but once you get the hang of it, spotting them becomes second nature.

During the action, be prepared for the chance of running into trouble. From dodging traffic to potential Police chases, being alert is crucial. Keep your wits about you and maybe memorise a few routes to the garage just in case things heat up.

Being methodical about which Cabbie you collect and when can save you minutes of frustration. And remember, the quicker you complete the list, the sooner you enjoy the perks that come with it.

Unlocks and Rewards: Why You Should Complete the Mission

Finishing up the Cabbie Import/Export task in GTA 3 isn’t just about ticking a box. There’s a real sense of achievement and some pretty sweet benefits waiting once you’ve completed the exchange list. For the Cabbie Claude Speed delivers, he’s pocketing $1,000 GTA, adding up to a nice chunk of cash as you go along.

Furthermore, delivering all 16 vehicles listed comes with a serious bonus β€” a staggering $200,000 GTA. It’s a hefty payoff whether you’re saving up for in-game goodies or simply like seeing that tally go up. Plus, after the last vehicle is dropped off, you unlock a feature letting you select any of the delivered models for free. This means experimenting with different rides just got a whole lot easier and better.

Access to these previously delivered vehicles can significantly change up your in-game strategy, offering flexibility for various missions by providing the right vehicle for any occasion without costing a dime. It’s the kind of perk that makes this side-mission more than a quick cash.

Compared to other side-missions in Grand Theft Auto 3: The Definitive Edition, the rewards from this one can substantially boost both your in-game wallet and vehicle recognition. Having free access to a variety of vehicles transforms your mobility around Liberty City, reducing the need to hunt for specific cars later in the game.

Taking the time to complete this side-mission not only reinforces your reputation as a thorough player but it enhances your gameplay experience. Whether you’re gunning for full-game completion or just want more freedom in how you play, the Cabbie Import/Export task stands out as worthwhile candidate.

1 thought on β€œCABBIE ⭐ Import | Export // Pike Creek List ⭐ GRAND THEFT AUTO III β€’ The Definitive Edition”

  1. This brought back some serious nostalgia! I remember spending way too much time trying to complete the three exchange lists in GTA III, especially with those trickier to findΒ vehicles, not like the Cabbie. It always felt like part side quest, part scavenger huntβ€”and definitely a test of patience!
I think it’s awesome that the Definitive Edition kept this feature intact, though I’ve noticed mixed feelings in the community about how some of the handling and visuals were updated. Personally, I still enjoy these kinds of tasksβ€”they add depth and give completionists like me something to chase.
Out of curiosity, did you find any changes in spawn locations or AI behavior that made this mission easier or harder in the Definitive Edition compared to the original?
Great breakdownβ€”always enjoy reading about the finer details of classic games!
