T R A N S C R I P T . . .
Hello and welcome back to the fifth episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. So, weโre loading in on the Salvage Ship and weโre just gonna look around. Looks like thereโs an item there. What is it? Obtained Al Bhed Primer Volume One. The secrets of the Al Bhed language are revealed. All letter that are โYโ become โAโ. Tidus has reached the rank of Al Bhed Hujela. As you can see there, all the pink โAโ are translated to English. But, thereโs definitely not enough letters deciphered to understand whatโs being said yet. Obtained three Potionโs. He sounds a bit mad frustrated. Letโs see what this women has to say. Using the Sphere Grid.
The Sphere Grid is used to develop your characters by activating nodes with spheres. Letโs see how this is done. Select Sphere Grid from the main menu. Okay so, hereโs the tutorial of the Sphere Grid. Iโm not gonna read it all out. I might point out some key points, thatโs about it. Use the directional pad to move the cursor. So, all the different spots on this landscape is called nodes. The number of steps a character can move is equivalent to his or her Sphere Level (S. Lv). You have to battle to get Ability Points (AP) and get additional Sphere Levels. So, we need to be careful not to skip any nodes where we have to back track, unless Itโs intentional.
I think initially, Itโs all pretty well straight forward on the Standard Sphere Grid. So, we donโt have to stress about that just yet. So obviously, Itโs important for us to be collecting Power Sphereโs, Mana Sphereโs, Speed Sphereโs and Ability Sphereโs to activate these nodes. As an example, the Ability Sphere just activated that Ability Node. And it taught Tidus the Ability โ Cheer. But thatโs a demonstration, we havenโt actually unlocked that yet. Thatโll be our first proper node we will unlock when the time comes. All the โL.1โ to four I think it is. We cannot pass until we can unlock them with a key. So, we canโt go down. We have to go up from here. And thereโs a glance of our characters menu from the Sphere Grid.
We can zoom the map out, which becomes a little daunting when you can see the true landscape of it. When you move it around thereโs a lot to unlock, if you want to complete it all. And, Iโve done it before. Alright so, thereโs the Sphere Grid Tutorial and letโs proceed. Salvage the Big Prize hey, I wonder what that might be. Alright so, letโs dive down to the depths of the ocean. Follow this anchor chain and weโve encountered a battle. Three Piranha. Got a Power Sphere and a Mana Sphere, cool. There what some of the things that we need for the Sphere Grid to unlock the nodes. Alright, it looks like weโre going to an Underwater Ruin. Alright so, hereโs a Sphere. A โSave Sphereโ. I hope you enjoyed this episode and Iโll see you on the next!
