Final Fantasy X – OMEGA RUINS (4K) Save Sphere 1: HD Remaster | Episode ~ 142

Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and forty-second episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. So, we’re bailing from Sin’s point of no return and flying Fahrenheit out to the Omega Ruins today. Wanna equip Lulu with her Variable Mog No Encounters Weapon this time around. Running through the Omega Ruins because It’s a vast and deadly area. Obtained Level Four Key Sphere and Defending Bracer. That way, we can do what we came to do. Obtained Turnover, two Level Three Key Sphere’s and Defending Armlet. So right now, we’re opening up chests. And upon entering the ruins, It’s predetermined I think, whether you get the whole twelve or not. And ideally, we can get the whole twelve, but if not, it is what it is. Obtained two Friend Sphere, a Level Four Key Sphere and there she goes. So, if we were to get twelve chests. We would have got ninety-nine Warp Sphere’s in the final. It would have been good but we can get around not doing it. Obtained Phantom Ring, Cactuar Wizard, Warmonger and two Teleport Sphere. So I mean, we got eleven but obviously, the items probably reset’d, or perhaps not.

I think that was a decent result regardless. It could have been worse. So now, let’s activate this Glyph and we’ll go back and activate the other one to gain access to a sorta secret chest I suppose. But first, we’ll grab this Al Bhed Primer! Obtained Al Bhed Primer Vol. XXVI, the secrets of the Al Bhed language are revealed. The letter ‘W’ in Al Bhed translates to the letter ‘Z’ in English. Okay, just got the ‘Master Linguist’ trophy and Tidus has achieved the rank of Al Bhed Sycdan! So, we just officially collected every single Al Bhed Primer and can speak Al Bhed fluently. Here’s the second Glyph. This is what those two Glyph’s do, creates a bridged path. In the chest here we got a Teleport Sphere. And that links back up around. Okay so, re-equipping Onion Knight and we’re fighting Ultima Weapon, the boss. It shouldn’t cause too much grief. Down goes Ultima Weapon! Gave us six Level Three Key Sphere’s for Overkilling it. So now, we got scripted battles. Ah, lucky we had Auron out. That would have been a problem right there. Ah, Provoke the Great Malboro. That gonna save our hide. That is ah, kind of interesting.

Such a cool looking fiend Master Tonberry and in this chest is a Friend Sphere. More scripted battles along this way til we get to where we wanna go. So, we’re gonna use Kimahri’s Lancet on this Wraith and he learned the Doom Overdrive. Phew. Another Great Malboro. Also, we’ve been filling in the mini-map as we’ve been going. Oh no! Got two Demonolith’s to get through, it could be a little hairy. Here we are and we’re gonna unleash all of our Overdrive’s on Omega. Crap! I wasn’t paying attention, my bad. That’s alright. Alright so, we’re gonna learn Kimahri’s final Overdrive technique by using Lancet. Kimahri has learned Nova and just got the ‘Learning!’ trophy. And got murdered for it. Wakka, unleash a Hail Mary of Attack Reels! Had to make sure of that. I don’t know how well this is gonna work. Oh, that was scary. Okay so, I’m not gonna take too many more chances. Yuna, Grand Summon in the Magus Sisters, phew. Yes we do and straight up, Combine your Powers for the Delta Attack! Yeah, that’s sick. Hopefully, the Magus Sisters can take care of the Omega. Ah, taking a break, are you serious? At a time like this. That was nice. Okay, you can fight now.

That’s always handy. Yes, way to hang in there. Yea! Yes. Ah no and down it goes. Gawd damn, Omega’s scary. What an Aeon these, this trio is. So, I just seen a chest there. Now we’ve been transported back to the entrance. So, next-time around we’ll grab that. So, for the Sphere Grid. Auron learns the Ability Slowga. Yuna learns the Ability Bribe and the four abilities: Fira; Thundara; Blizzara and Watera. Lulu learns the Ability Silence Buster. Tidus learns Curaga, that’s pretty sick. And also Regen. Kimahri learns Bio Ability. Wakka learns Sentinel. Wakka learns the Ability Slow. Rikku uses a Level Two Key Sphere in a sec to get to that. Um, where do we wanna go? Rikku learns Silence Attack. So, the characters stats and overall Sphere Grid progression. Now, we’re starting to make a dent on the Sphere Grid. So, their’s a ‘Traveller’s Save Sphere‘.
