Hello and welcome back to the forty-second episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. Looks like we’re at a fork in the road. Elma and Lucil’s blocking this direction, gotcha. So, we should be encountering new fiends again for the most part. Is that a chest I seen? Yep. And I believe this is a Chimera! Alright, we’re gonna Provoke it and by doing that, it should only cast one spell. And, with our Thunderproof Armor, we won’t take any damage. But obviously, we’ve switched out Tidus. We just got to get the pattern right. Could also use Silence Attack on it or, just T.K.O. it! In this chest has a Sleepy Cait Sith which we already have equipped I believe. Let’s just have a look if we have anything worth swapping out Weapon’s and Armor wise.
HP Stroll, that’s pretty good but, I’d rather keep the Dark and Beserk Ward. Oh no, we have a Dreamy Cait Sith. It does pretty much the exact same thing, I wonder what’s more effective. I’d imagine Sleepstrike’s more effective than Sleeptouch. I’d have to look at that, so we’ll just keep as is. We got a Guado NPC. In this chest lies a two thousand Gil. I do believe these butterflies, by clicking ‘X’ on em’, it activates a mini game. If It’s not that one, It’s the other one over there flying around. But, we’ll come back for that another time. Their’s a chest and it has a Phoenix Down, times three. So, we’re are just gonna do a Thundara on this Blue Element, cause It’s super effective. It appears Barthello has lost his Summoner Dona. Stole two Fish Scale from the Blue Element, sounds like a unique item.
Again, we’re gonna leave the butterfly. Macalania Woods Butterfly Hunt! So, if I was to click ‘X’ on this butterfly, I’d have to run after the several blue butterflies and avoiding the red ones. Because they become fiends. Okay, we just have to walk on top of it and I would be running in a backwards direction. And, as you can see there’s a timer. This time around we’re gonna cast Lancet on this Chimera with Kimahri and he just learned Aqua Breath technique as an Overdrive. Quite a fine looking fiend, It’s got three heads, three different attacks. But, provoking it will only cause it to cast one attack. Is that a chest? Has a Remedy in it. So, if I was to click ‘X’ on that Butterfly, I’m sure we’d have to do the game again in a different area.
So, this will heal the actual Blue Element as you can see, cause we have a Waterstrike Weapon. But, no matter, cause we can cast Thundara and take it out in one hit. Okay, we just got Petrified, Esuna. So, we’re gonna avoid that butterfly if we can. Alright, we’re gonna do some Sphere Gridin’ starting with Lulu. Wakka learns the Ability Dark Buster. Also Drain! Yuna learns Protect Ability. Kimahri and Rikku are on the exact same node, beautiful. Following slightly different path’s to reach at that point.
