Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and eighty-fourth episode of this Final Fantasy X HD Remaster playthrough. So today, we’re gonna board the Airship and fly out to the Thunder Plains. And, we’re gonna go search for the Superboss Dark Ixion. No Encounters! To get this rolling, we have to talk to this character up here next to the lightning rod tower. Here we go! We’ll just whack at it and auto Pheonix Down. We do now have two hundred and fifty-five Strength attribute for all characters, which is gonna go a long way. Wakka uses Attack Reels. Wakka’s second Attack Reels! So down goes Dark Ixion but we’ve only injured it. We gotta now search for the Dark Ixion shadow type deal. Wait there! There we go. Tidus Entrust’s Wakka and down goes the Dark Ixion officially. Third Dark Aeon crossed off our list. I’m unsure why you have to defeat it twice, It’s pretty cool though. So, considering we just fought Ixion, or the dark version. We’re now gonna go pay tribute or respects to the Fayth at Macalania Djose Temple.
So, to get to the Fayth at the Temple there, we have to redo the Cloister Of Trials and we’ll get a few nice Attribute Nodes and a cut-scene. Howdy Mr. Chocobo. Straight through the gap. We’re on a tight schedule here. I’ll try and get through this as quick as I can, redoing the Cloister. Such an electrifying Cloister Of Trials, It’s not bad to be fair. Let’s go visit this Fayth and the Fayth awarded us a Luck Sphere. Plus, their’s two chests that contain Agility Sphere and a Magic Defense Sphere. With that good-time outta the way, we’re gonna go fly back to the Calm Lands and Chocobo it to the Arena. And we’re basically just gonna be farming various things starting with Nemesis. We’re gonna try and get three Level Four Key Sphere again. Which is a little expense, but It’s worth it. We’re not worried about getting wiped out from Nemesis. We’re beaten, but not defeated. One more time Nemesis! Ah we got a Warp Sphere, that’s alright. Now, we’re gonna farm two lots of Power Sphere from Kottos.
We’re almost outta Power Distiller so I’ll try to remember to get some. Forty Power Sphere and another forty. So, let’s get more Phoenix Down and Distiller’s! So now, we’re gonna attack Tanket twelve times! We wanna Overkill it twelve times, so we can get twenty-four Defense Sphere, that’s the goal. Oh no, jumped the gun there. That’s the way Wakka, Berserk it to death! Ah we got Dark Matter, we’ll have to do that again. About a ten percent chance every-time of landing. One more time so, that’s twenty-four Defense Sphere’s gathered. Now we wanna make sure that everyone’s Comrade for Overdrive, but Wakka on Stoic. And also, equip everyone’s Triple or Double AP Weapon. Now, we’re gonna farm Sphere Level’s for all characters at once one time, if it works as planned. Well that’s not good, we got ambushed. Ah whoops. Let’s see how that turned out. That’ll do, so we’re gonna now jump into the Sphere Grid for each character and we’re gonna carefully move everyone together.
And activating the Defense Nodes Sphere’s that we just farmed. At some point, we’re gonna have to get more Power Sphere, but that was expected. You gotta do what you must do. Let’s try our best to get through all the characters today. Okay, that’ll save a little bit of time if I remember, yeah. I might put a Luck Node there. Alright, let’s bring every character to Yuna’s position. Where are we? Who’s next? Wakka! We may need to get a few additional Red Sphere’s other than Power Sphere. Alright, let’s go get more Red Sphere’s. Look at that defense there by Wakka, incredible. Look at how quick Yuna moves. Ah, I know why, she has Auto-Haste I assume, I can’t remember but that’s probably why. We’ll get one more lot of ah, Speed Sphere and continue Sphere Grid grinding. It’s a shame, but I’ve only got enough time to do Kimahri. So then, I’m gonna have to do Rikku without you guys again. But, It’s just gonna be this Sphere Grid section. It’d take three minutes.
