T R A N S C R I P T . . .
Hello and welcome back to the one hundred and thirty-seventh episode of this GTA III The Definitive Edition video game series. Unusual, the roller door wonβt open.
There we go. Today, weβre gonna search for our fourth Import/Export Exchange vehicle for our Pike Creek Garage. And, we could take either one of these. But, we might take the βMananaβ.
So far, weβre getting very lucky with vehicle spawns out the front of our Hideout. Itβs actually a pretty nice colour as far as the Manana goes. It might be the best Iβve seen. Definitely wouldnβt be a fan favourite of a vehicle.
But, the orange paint jobβs nice. So, here we are. Is the Manana on the list? Yep! Manana crossed off the list. Four vehicles down, twelve vehicles remain. Might as well take a Manana back. I hope you enjoy this episode and Iβll see you on the next!

Summary
Side missions in Grand Theft Auto 3: The Definitive Edition add layers of fun and depth to the game, making it feel more alive and interactive. They arenβt just optional chores; theyβre packed with unique challenges and give you a break from the main storyline, which in my opinion, amplifies the whole gaming experience.
Among these side activities are the Import/Export trades at Pike Creekβs Garage and stands out as a fan favourite. This mission type involves locating specific vehicles scattered throughout Liberty City and delivering them to said location, which really tests your eye for detail and driving skills.
One such vehicle on the list is the 1-tonne Manana, a quirky ride styled after real-life cars like the Dodge Aries, Pontiac Grand Am Gen III, and Ford Escort Mk. III. Itβs not just any car; it encapsulates a little piece of 80βs car culture, adding an authentic touch to the game.

Locating and Acquiring the Manana
Finding the Manana can be a bit of a treasure hunt really, adding a fun twist to the game. This car isnβt hiding from you; it has its favourite spots around Liberty City. Head to Torrington on Staunton Island where itβs often spotted cruising around the AMCo Underground car park. If luck isnβt on your side there, try the vibrant Red Light District in Portland, or search the car park at Francis International Airport in Shoreside Vale.
When you finally spot a Manana, make sure you plan your move. Itβs not just about hopping into any vehicle; smart hijacking involves picking your moment and your route. Steer clear of densely populated areas or heavily policed zones right after you snag it. Slow and steady might not win the race, but it will save you a cop chase.
Once youβve secured the Manana, the next step is navigating back to the Pike Creek Exchange Garage in Shoreside Vale. The roads can be tricky, so knowing shortcuts or having a clear path can help. This adds an element of strategy beyond just finding the carβkeeping your cool and executing the plan is part of the fun!
Rewards and Strategic Benefits of Completing the Mission
Completing the Import/Export missions delivers serious perks, beyond just ticking off vehicles on a checklist. Delivering the Manana bags you a cool $1,000 GTA, which adds a nice boost to your in-game finances for better gear or more exciting pursuits.
The real jackpot comes when youβve collected all 16 vehicles on the Pike Creek list. You unlock a one-time payout of $200,000 GTA and a special bonus: floating icons within the garage that let you choose any delivered vehicle for free. This means you can cruise around Liberty City in luxury and style without spending a dime. A little optional grinding goes a long way for players enjoyment and gaming longevity.
These rewards arenβt just financial. Having a fleet of vehicles ready at your disposal changes your game dynamics, giving you a strategic edge. Need a quick getaway car? No problem. Want something sturdy for a high-stakes mission? Just tap into your garage stockpile.
Side missions like this do more than just fill your wallet. They enrich the game with new strategies and open-ended play, making each session unique and full of possibilities. Itβs about crafting your journey and enhancing your adventures in Liberty City.

Nice to see the Import/Export side missions getting some attentionβespecially in the Shoreside Vale garage. This part of GTA III often gets overlooked, but itβs a fun challenge to track down all the required vehicles. Loving the upgraded visuals in The Definitive Edition too. I love GTA III, I can wait to try this release out.
