Summary
In the vibrant universe of Grand Theft Auto III, the Kuruma stands out not just as a vehicle but as a symbol of seamless fusion between virtual creativity and real-world inspiration. Modeled closely after the 2001-2006 Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler 300M, Chrysler Cirrus, and the Honda Civic Gen V, the Kuruma brings a familiar yet distinctive touch to Liberty City. Its design is a testament to the gameβs attention to detail, merging the identifiable aesthetics of real-life cars into a unique in-game experience.
The Kurumaβs significance in Grand Theft Auto III transcends its role as a mere means of transportation. Itβs a part of the playerβs interaction with the gameβs environment and narrative, especially when engaged in specific missions or simply cruising through the myriad of islands the game offers. This car is not just about getting from point A to B; itβs a reflection of the playerβs style and choice, adding a personal touch to how one navigates the streets of Liberty City.
From the perspective of game developers, incorporating vehicles like the Kuruma involves a blend of artistic flair and technical precision. The aim was to create something that feels both unique to the game and grounded in the reality of automotive design. This is why the Kuruma, alongside other vehicles in the game, captures the essence of familiar sedans while offering a playful twist suitable for the adventurous and chaotic world of Grand Theft Auto III.
KURUMA β Import | Export // SHORESIDE VALE
Discovering the Shoreside Vale Import/Export Garage
The Shoreside Vale Import/Export Garage, situated in the bustling area of Pike Creek, adds an intriguing layer to Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition with its unique side-mission opportunities. This garage isnβt just a storage facility; itβs a landmark of personal achievement and reward. It challenges players to scour the city, gather a mix of vehicles, and bring them back to this hideout.
Getting the right vehicles to this garage can be tricky, but itβs worth every second spent hunting them down. Alongside the Kuruma, players must deliver a range of cars, each contributing to a growing list of completed tasks. This is where planning and patience come in. Making sure each delivery counts not only satisfies a completionist urge but also builds up towards rewarding surprises.
Working through the vehicle list is a task of both strategy and curiosity. It encourages players to explore parts of Liberty City they might quickly zoom past in the main storyline. Opting into this side-mission is like taking a scenic detour, one where attention to detail and a knack for exploration pay dividends. Players who complete the full list of 16 vehicles are not just ticking off a checklist but enhancing their in-game experience with unique rewards, like access to previously delivered vehicles at no extra cost and a generous cash payout for a job well done.
Mapping Out the Search: Where to Find the Kuruma
Finding the Kuruma in Liberty City can be a bit like a treasure hunt, adding a thrill to the game as you chart your path across the sprawling urban landscape. Knowing where to look can save you a lot of time and effort. Head to Portland Island first. Here, the Kuruma is often seen parked outside Head Radio Studio in Hepburn Heights, or you might spot it at Greasy Joeβs CafΓ© parking lot in Callahan Point.
If youβre still on Portland Island, swing by Mommaβs Restaurante in Saint Markβs or check outside Capital Autos in Harwood. Both locations are hotspots where the Kuruma makes an appearance. And donβt overlook the Portland Docks, another prime spot to find one of these gems sitting idle.
Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale also hide a few Kurumaβs. The Liberty Tree parking lot in Bedford Point and the car park near the apartment buildings in Wichita Gardens can be lucrative targets. While cruising these neighbourhoods, keep an eye on trafficβKurumaβs do make their rounds on the roads, especially in Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale.
Once youβve got your hands on one, deliver it to the Shoreside Vale garage to pocket an easy $1,000 GTA. Thatβs a good payoff, especially when youβre just starting out. Even better, delivering all 16 vehicles unlocks a whole lineup for free accessβa treat for any dedicated player, making all that searching, collecting, and driving well worth the squeeze.

Iβve completed the Kuruma side hustle in GTA III the other day, and it was one of the more tedious side tasks. Finding that Karen of a KurumaΒ vehicle and delivering it through busy streets was such a chore. In my opinion, these optional missions go beyond just making money thoughβthey really encourage exploration whether you realise it or not.
